Delivery of Items
Payment for items is required prior to delivery unless special arrangements have been made. Goods remain the property of Bakery & Catering Services until payment has been made in full. Due to constant changes in material and labour costs, all equipment and prices are subject to ‘Change without Notice'. All non standard items made to order are subject to a 100% deposit and are non returnable.
Delivery time takes up to 10 working days from the date your payment is received, however most orders are delivered earlier than this. Where you have purchased an item that is required to be ordered, delivery time after payment processing may take up to 3 weeks. Items that are in stock will be dispatched on the day of or after payment.
Bakery & Catering Services makes every effort to deliver your order according to the estimated delivery times provided by us at checkout. The estimated delivery times are in business days (Monday through Friday) excluding Public holidays.
Although every effort is made to ship your order according to the estimated delivery times provided, estimated ship times may change due to changes in supply or circumstances beyond our control. If your order has not arrived after the estimated delivery time, please contact us as shown on the web site.
Unless otherwise agreed by us, we will deliver your order to the address indicated on your order confirmation. If no-one is available to take delivery of your order, our carrier (Australia Post or selected carrier) will leave a card so you can pickup your order. Where delivery is by our courier service and no-one is available to take delivery, they will leave a card requesting you to telephone them to arrange a suitable time and date for delivery.
We will use our reasonable efforts to deliver your order to you within the estimated delivery time indicated on your order confirmation; however, we do not guarantee that we will deliver within this time frame. Title and risk of loss to all items will pass to you on delivery.
7 Day Guarantee & Your Rights to Return an Item
Bakery & Catering Service has a 7 Day 100% money back Guarantee. The goods have to be returned in the same good conditions as first shipped and the postage is to be paid by the customer.
All Bakery & Catering Service items have a manufacturers guarantee. If you believe that an item is faulty in the time of guarantee contact us with your proof of purchase so we can arrange a repair or exchange.
Refunds will only be offered where a replacement item cannot be provided. If the item is deemed not faulty, Bakery & Catering Services may in its absolute discretion refuse to replace the item or offer you a refund.
When an item is replaced, your replacement item becomes your property and the faulty item becomes our property.
When a refund is given, the returned item becomes our property. Bakery & Catering Services reserves the right to test any returned item. If the condition of the item was misrepresented to us by the customer, Bakery & Catering Services can impose a $50 handling and administration fee.
Item Problems After Delivery
If a defect arises after delivery and a valid claim is received within 7 days of delivery, Bakery & Catering Services will exchange the item where possible, or refund you the purchase price of the item.
Where we agree to replace the item or refund you the purchase price of the item, you must first return the defective item to us. You will be obliged to pay for the return of the item.
We will make arrangements with you for the return of the item. The delivery time for replacing the item will be the same as stated for the original item. Replacement items are provided with the same warranty as the returned item.
All items must be packed in the original, unmarked packaging including any accessories, manuals, documentation and registration that shipped with the item.
When a Replacement Item is Arranged:
• A replacement for the same item that you ordered will be shipped to you at our expense after we have received your returned item.
• The delivery time for the replacement item will be the same as stated for the original item.
• Replacement items are provided with the same Limited Warranty as the original item.
When a Refund is Arranged:
• Refunds do not include all shipping and associated costs for the returned item.
• No refund will be given to you until Bakery & Catering Services has received the returned item from you.
• Refunds will be issued by direct deposit or a credit to "Your Account" with Bakery & Catering Services.
Some items - Manufacturer Only Warranty
Some items sold through Bakery & Catering Services are serviced and supported exclusively by their manufacturer in accordance with Terms and Conditions packaged with the items.
Where we supply an item to you with a Manufacturer’s Warranty packaged with the item, the Bakery & Catering Services Limited Warranty does not apply. This will be specified at time of purchase.

At Bakery & Catering Services, it is our concern to protect customer information and to provide a safe and secure online ordering system. Our online ordering system is used to gather information about our customers, enabling us to provide the complete online ordering service.

This information will be kept confidential and at no time will this information be traded, swapped, exchanged or sold to any other party or company. Bakery & Catering Services will not use this information for any other purpose than to complete a customer order, or to communicate with the customer to discuss associated problems or delays concerning their order(s). We may share this information and only that information which is absolutely necessary, with those third parties that are involved in the processing of your order. For example, the financial institution that issued your credit card and the shipping carrier that delivers your order.
All customer information is kept on a secure server and protected by firewall security systems.
Credit Card Information
Your credit card details are used for the purpose of payment of your order by third party banking, (third party being Bakery & Catering Services). We will at no time disclose this information for any other purpose, than to use these details for the payment of your order. The customer gives us their authority to use these details for payment of their orders by using this website or by submitting them through fax. Credit card details are not stored on Bakery & Catering Services database server by default. Customers must submit credit card details each time you place an order. This is done for your protection
The Email address you submitted during an order will be used by Bakery & Catering Services for the sole purpose of extended customer service. Bakery & Catering Services will only use your Email address to communicate with you about the status, cost and shipping details, or any other changes required about your order. We may also send Emails to customers for important events such as change of address etc.
The Email address you submit to join the newsletter mailing list will be used by Bakery & Catering Services for the sole purpose of sending regular newsletters. We maintain the newsletter Email list separate from the ones stored in the customer database.
